The new Xtreme Shelter designed by Vallfirest combines a range of basic characteristics which make it different from the traditional Fire Shelter II. The new mix of materials provides an important improvement in isolation performance (see the graph), while the new ergonomic design based on fetal position allows to reduce significantly the weight and the volume, this way making it easier to transport and to unfold.

Features:
- The pump is metal, of double acting, hidroneta type, with gripping handles of plastic material.
- The tank is made of high strength plastic; its yellow color helps to identify it easily among the vegetation.
- Anti-kink hose to prevent clogging in use. At the end of the hose which is put inside the tank there is a counterweight which ensures full use of the reservoir content avoiding a possible obstruction.

Abrasion resistance:
The hose has a high resistance to abrasion. The special thickness of the hose lengthens the life of the hose in extreme abrasive conditions.
Cold resistance:
The hose withstands a low temperature down to -38 Cº without any damage to its components.
Ozone Resistance:
The hose shows no signs of cracks on the rubber tested at 100 pphm / 40oC / 72h.
Chemical resistance:
The hose is resistant to sea water as well as to contamination by most chemicals, hydrocarbons, oils, alkalines, etc.
Heat resistance:
The hose when subjected to a static pressure of 700 kpa will be able to withstand a temperature of 600oC for a minimum of 60 seconds without breaking or damaging the synthetic reinforcement.
Repair:
Damage to the tire, such as small holes or punctures, can be repaired with the use of the REPOKIT and the vulcanizing plate.

Measures wind speed: current, maximum and average, in a range of 0.4 to 40 meters per second, from 1 to 144 kilometers per hour, with a resolution of 0.1 and a reading of + -3%. Other units of measure: knots, mph, ft/min and Beaufort force.
It uses high precision jewel bearings and a light weight impeller to provide accurate air flow measurements even at low speeds. The impeller assembly can be replaced by the user if damaged. Liquid crystal display with large 9mm high digits for a clear readout.
Power is from an easily replaceable standard lithium coin cell battery, which will typically give up to 300 hours of operation. The instrument automatically switches off if no keys are pressed for 45 minutes.
Features:
- Includes protective cover, lanyard and battery
- Data hold function
- Large easy to read Display
- Waterproof and floats
- Replaceable impeller assembly
- Wide range of wind speeds and low starting speed
- Reliable, portable and easy to use

This model`s water drops are lightweight and their diameter is smaller in order to reach greater heat absorption.
When the water passes through the coupling and the stainless steel cylinder, it hits against the frontal cycloid-shaped shield, so that the small slot between the cylinder and the shield allows the stream to pour out, creating a protective shade of water.
The volume of water poured out and the formation of the shade of water depend directly on the water pressure. In this case, as we are working with a high-pressure and low-consumption nozzle, the optimal working pressure is between 20 and 22 bar with the consumption of 120 l/m.
Features:
- Cycloid-shaped shield: diameter of 25, maximum working pressure up to 35 bar.
- Coupling Barcelona according to UNE 23400.
- Y-shaped particle filter with stainless steel mesh.
- Semicircular yellow reflecting high visibility sticker.
Instructions for use:
- The nozzle should be connected to a hose and placed on flat ground
- It should work under the range of pressure as indicated above.
- The water is thrown out making up a half-moon-shaped shade of water.

Temperature and wind chill can be displayed in °C or °F.
Capable of measuring the slightest breeze, the unit uses an ultralight impeller mounted on jewel bearings to measure wind speed and provide an accuracy of ±3%. For temperature readings, the Kestrel uses a fast-responding, hermetically sealed thermistor accurate to ±1°F (±1°C). Wind chill factor is calculated automatically from wind and temperature data using the U.S. National Weather Services official tables.
Measuring modes and display units can be changed at any time. Results are displayed on a large, easy-to-read LCD which automatically shuts off 45 minutes after last key press. The Kestrel 2000 is housed in a reinforced fiberglass case which is waterproof and floats.
A convenient neck lanyard and one CR2032 battery are included. Two-year manufacturers warranty.
Features:
- Minimum wind speed: 0.7 mph (0.6 knots, 1 km / h, 0.3 m / s or 60 fpm).
- Maximum wind speed: 89 mph (78 knots, 144 km / h, 40 m / s, or 7.830 fpm).
- Wind speed accuracy: ± 3%.
- Update: 1 second.
- Temperature and wind chill accuracy: ± 1 ° C.
- Temperature Resolution: ± 0.1 ° C.
- Wind chill factor resolution: ± 0.1 ° F (± 0.1 ° C).
- Operating temperature: -4 ° F to +140 ° F (-20 ° C to +60 ° C).
- Temperature range: -20 ° F to +158 ° F (-29 ° C to +70 ° C).
- Temperature sensor: Precision thermistor hermetically sealed.
- Sealing: Electronics enclosure IP67 - water resistant to 3 ft. Floats.
- Battery: user-replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery with a typical life of 400 hours.

It provides comprehensive environmental data on nine different measurements with the simplicity of the Kestrel 1000. Simply turn it on and scroll left and right to see exactly what the environment is doing. When you're done, slip on the hard cover and your Kestrel 3500 Pocket Wind Meter is just about indestructible.
While the weather can dictate the comfort level of individuals working or playing outside, it plays an even bigger part in many professionals jobs. Irrigation professionals use the Kestrel 3500 to ensure they are irrigating efficiently and the water they are dispersing is actually hitting their intended target, and not evaporating or blowing away. And on construction sites Kestrel users are preventing plastic shrinkage cracks and curing concrete more effectively with their Kestrel 3500.
