More efficiency, less physical wear
The innovative design makes physical work more efficient. How? The flexible handle causes a whip effect for greater flapper speed with less effort, thereby increasing performance and user comfort. Greater operability due to the adjustable 45º attack angle. Plus, the flapper allows for greater adaptability to irregularity in the ground due to the central slits.
A telescopic handle that is adaptable to any situation and user
A telescopic handle with an adaptable length for use and transport at different heights. The arm that joins the handle to the flapper is made of Pom Delrin C - Polyoxymethylene (Copolymer) is flexible to accumulate more power for the subsequent impact, helps reduce the effort of the movement. Plus, the flexibility absorbs the impact to prevent overloading on the user’s hands and arms.

Dragon Swatter: This is an ergonomically-designed beating tool for all tough turf grassland fires or where root mass or organic matt prevents easy scraping of fire line down to mineral soil.
Univerdal Handle: This specially engineered wooden handle with snap-lock fitting, is longer and approximately twice the strength of a traditional Pulaski handle. The hardened-aluminum CNC-manufactured male fitting locks into all Dragonslayers tool heads.
Magnum Pulaski: High-carbon replaceable axe and grub-hoe blades; 6-inch wide grub-hoe blade twice the width of traditional Pulaski. Composite tool head snap-locks onto the Universal Handle. Pulaski head and Universal Handle same weight as traditional Pulaski but with improved balance. Includes orange blade guards and elastic webbing with two stainless screws to attach an emergency handle if needed on a fire.
Troop Tool: Tool is a push-button adjustable angle shovel for scrapping line, digging, throwing dirt and mixing/chinking during mop-up. The tool combines features of the traditional military trenching shovel and the McLeod/Council rake. Composite steel shovel snap-locks onto the Universal Handle. Stows flat for travel and can serve as a safety staff for cross- country travel on steep and uneven ground. Takes the drudgery out of mop-up.

Its main characteristic is its versatility in all types of terrain, thanks to the combination of the most used tools in forest fire extinction in a single multi-functional cutting blade, without the need to transport different tools.
The modifications have been made with the aim of improving the balance, functions and useful life of the materials used.
The Gorgui has an aluminum alloy central head on which the different functions are oriented, which become replaceable.

The new Mc Leod has been designed with a larger working surface and a greater height to have more pulling capacity. This improvement is essential in respect to Gorgui 1, as now there is no any interaction between the functions of the Mc Leod and the hoe, like in the previous model.
Mc Leod is much more clearly-defined as an individual tool in Gorgui

Pulaski hoe, designed for more organic soil, features a greater cutting surface, but the most important change here is the new balance. Due to the new aluminum head the weight is balanced much better, especially at the moment you have to apply a centered force when cutting or digging.

Pulaski part, designed for stony and rooty areas, features a new angle of attack.
Unlike the version 1, we now have an inclination angle of 6º and a new balance, which improve cutting and digging work.

Rake part has now got stronger cutting blades.
You can see the new design and all the clearly-defined functions presented together in one level.

The last new feature is the handle. We have taken the ergonomic design of the USFS McLeod varying the diameter of the handle according to the section

Magnum Pulaski: High-carbon replaceable axe and grub-hoe blades; 6-inch wide grub-hoe blade twice the width of traditional Pulaski. Composite tool head snap-locks onto the Universal Handle. Pulaski head and Universal Handle same weight as traditional Pulaski but with improved balance. Stows flat for travel and can serve as a safety staff for cross- country travel on steep and uneven ground. Takes the drudgery out of mop-up.

The Troop Tool is currently one of the most versatile tools, thanks to its angular mechanism. Always combined with the Universal handle, it increases its versatility by choosing the most suitable tool for each situation.
Functions:
- Shovel to dig and smother.
- Mc Leod improved with curved blade for cutting roots.

With this universal handle each fire fighter now enjoys a range of versatility never before possible. The handle has a special cone collar that transfers stress to a wide oval mass of wood for great strength. The size and shape of the handle then distributes stress throughout the entire handle, rather than simply at the place where the metal meets the wood, as with traditional handles.
This is a lot more durable. There is a stainless steel, spring-loaded latching pin held in place by a stainless allen screw. The latching pin locks the handle to the various tool heads.

Dragon Swatter with a 7 foot long beating device for tough-turfed grasslands, like tundra, taiga, dry swamps, sage areas or anywhere where is difficult to scrape down easily to mineral soil. This is light and comfortable to use. The fire fighter's face is a long way from the flames, and his back is upright. Soft and ergonomic, the fact that using this tools is a pleasure. A great prescribed fire herding tool.
Dragon Swatter options:
- A 2 foot long nylon rod and 2 foot long conveyor belt straps best for rock and brush temperate grasslands.
- A 4 foot long rod with a foot square long pad best for arctic taiga and tundra / irregular ground and dry swamps in tropics

Forged steel head. Heat treated working ends produce fine grain structure and RC 45 to 55 (Rockwell hardness value) for safety, edge holding and toughness. Red enamel coated body and clear lacquer cutting edges to discourage rust. Hickory handle. Dry section to moisture content below 10% to minimize shrinkage and help prevent loosening.
The head of the handle is inserted into the handle and fixed with a serrated aluminum wedge, made of resistant, lightweight material and does not expand or contract depending on humidity or temperature. The serrated shape of the wedge improves the bite. The head fixing hole is elongated and allows a strong mechanical connection.

Vallfirest company has developed a pack of fire blankets adaptable to all sorts of light vehicles and trucks used for fire extinction works. This kit aims to reach the thermal insulation inside the vehicle cabin while it remains trapped in a forest fire.
This system is much more effective if it is used together with external sprinkler kits in order to avoid glass breakage, as well as with the respiration units inside the vehicle.
The past accidents and the tests realized all over the world have shown us the way to follow in order to improve the self-protection equipment. It is known that the temperature inside the vehicle cabin is lower that outside, so that if insulating blankets are used, the thermal conditions are improved and it is possible for human beings to remain more time in safe conditions despite of the extreme conditions outside.
The insulating and fire blankets pack can be applied in any kind of vehicle used for fire extinction. It is easily mountable and replaceable from one vehicle to another if the substitution is needed. This kit is single-use in case of direct flame impact. It is designed and adapted according to different sizes of different vehicles.

The new Xtreme Shelter designed by Vallfirest combines a range of basic characteristics which make it different from the traditional Fire Shelter II. The new mix of materials provides an important improvement in isolation performance (see the graph), while the new ergonomic design based on fetal position allows to reduce significantly the weight and the volume, this way making it easier to transport and to unfold.
